Sofia and Pascal’s love story leads them to Mexico but it began on the internet, a modern-day twist to the age-old tale of romance. Sofia, a graphic designer, and Pascal, an architect, found each other through an online platform that celebrated the magic of serendipity. Through late-night conversations and shared dreams, they discovered a mutual love for adventure, culture, and, most importantly, each other.

Their engagement story was as unique as their online meeting. Pascal, recognizing Sofia’s love for art and design, planned a surprise trip to Los Angeles. He secretly collaborated with a local artist to create a mural depicting their journey – from their first online messages to the moment he proposed. The mural adorned a hidden alley in downtown LA, and Pascal led Sofia to the spot under the guise of exploring the city’s street art scene.

As they turned the corner and saw the mural, Sofia was overcome with emotion. Tears welled up in her eyes as Pascal dropped to one knee, surrounded by the vibrant colors of the mural and the city lights. With a ring that sparkled as brightly as their love, he asked the question that would change their lives forever.

Ecstatic and overwhelmed with joy, Sofia said yes. Little did they know that their love story was about to take them on a new adventure – planning a destination wedding in the heart of Mexico.

The Wedding Planning Process

They sought the help of a destination wedding planner to turn their dreams into reality. Their planner learned about the pair, their vision, and what budget they were working with.

Given their love for history and architecture, the couple chose Mexico City as their wedding destination.

Pascal and Sofia collaborated with their wedding planner to whittle down an endless list of possible wedding venues to just ten that reflected their respective love of design, architecture, history, and culture.
